Public transport leaders will gather at Manchester Town Hall on Monday to outline their key priorities for Greater Manchester's buses, trains and trams for the coming year.
Greater Manchester Integrated Transport Authority (GMITA) is holding a special seminar on Monday 11 May for members of the public to discuss the state of public transport with several key officials.
Senior representatives from GMITA, GMPTE, Metrolink, Northern Rail and Greater Manchester Bus Operators Association will outline their key priorities for the coming year and take questions from the audience.
The seminar will be chaired by Councillor Matt Colledge, Chair of GMITA, who said: "This will be a great opportunity for members of the public to discuss public transport with the very people who are in charge of it.
"These are exciting times. We're in the middle of a £700 million investment in Metrolink, real headway is being made on the Manchester rail hub study, and we are continuing to explore the new powers to improve bus services afforded by the Local Transport Act.
"So I'd urge anyone with an interest in our buses, trains and trams to come along to this event and find out more."
The seminar will be held in the Council Chamber at Manchester Town Hall. Registration will start at 10.30am.
