Tuesday, 12 May 2009Chat to the Metrolink team in Chadderton
Metrolink officials will be on hand in South Chadderton next week to talk to people about the multimillion pound project to bring trams to Oldham and Rochdale.
Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive (GMPTE) is overseeing a £600 million expansion of the Metrolink network that also includes new lines to Droylsden, Chorlton and MediaCityUK in Salford.
An information drop-in session and exhibition will be held at Coalshaw Park Pavilion, South Chadderton, on Wednesday 20 May, from 2pm to 8pm.
Representatives of GMPTE and MPact-Thales - the consortium appointed to design, build and maintain the new lines - will be available to speak to people about the plans, including the proposals for the South Chadderton stop.
